This may well be the verge of a whole new and effective treatment for PTSD. At first I was skeptical of this presenter's hippie-like exposition, but the more I listened the more impressed I became. Especially his description of the humility of real healers. This guy has scientific insights but his healing and setting insights were extraordinary.

In 2023, I think we can safely say that MDMA is definitely an effective treatment for many, especially with cPTSD, which has been so difficult to treat. But as he said, within the context of good therapy, delivered by highly skilled healers.

Thank you Dr. Quevedo 😊, this was fascinating and educational. I have some experience going to a curandero here in northern Ca. I will agree with what you said about the importance of intentions, and also the reverance and humility of a healer. I feel that you are one of those very gentle spirits, a very well intentioned healer. Your work studies and desire to know about other cultures and how they heal is admirable. God bless you❤

This should be interesting. I know nothing about MDMA ~ but I have experimented with psilocybin and other forms of LSD. It's been long enough now that the " flash backs " have gone away. They were interesting but I had to really focus to experience a so called " flash back ", it was more like a visual memory. ( it's been 30 years since the last time I tripped )

I'm so messed up with ptsd. Scared to do even my own chores. I saw the packman game how the packman moves when the player is in theta. And how it permanantly alters the brainwave after 3 sessions a week at 20 mins each. For 12 weeks. So I'm thinking if I get some medicine and take it three times a week for 12 weeks it might permanantly help me. I can't access expensive games.

Please don't use MDMA three times in a week, you'll have a tolerance effect and it just wont work (and so you might be tempted to increase the dosage, which can be very dangerous) The MDMA-assisted psychotherapy protocol is one time per month for three months with multiple therapeutic integration sessions in between. Clinical trials are still happening, and if you apply you may be able to participate-I would try that route first, especially because it's not the MDMA by itself that is effective, but rather the psychotherapy and the integration of the insights and experience. Good luck! It *is* possible to heal from PTSD-

Individual differences that matter here: birthday! We need to rescue birthday from the nonsensical premises of astrology and begin study of birthday as amounting to the dimension, phase, of the annual cycle of daily levels of arriving solar energy in the newborn infant's environment that humans have evolved to respond to with systematic differences in neural networking patterns and parameters, leading to a variety of ways of being human.

To me watching all the spin doctors at times it takes me back to the 60&70’s and I had watched in awe all the older hippies and young Doctors trying out B therapy, acid, mescaline and other drugs. Now we have evolved into early seniors or boomers and once again we are looking for Nirvana by trying more sophisticated medicine with people who have gone through horrific experiences and we call it trauma. I hope we are not starting another generation on drugs much more potent than some on the street already. It will take Doctors to prescribe drugs and $$$ always is a factor for supply chain and safety is in the fact that really only certain people are medically fit to use these new drugs so something needs to be 5:45 said about who qualifies and that these centres need to be able to open their doors to 😮PTSD sufferers who have no money or medical insurance to help them recover. Just saying the. Compassion.
