This is sooo my jam. Immediately, I was like, I have the perfect playlist for this song! Beautiful video. Am I crazy? I’m getting Florence and the Machine vibes all over... But with a country-folk twist! The video is giving me a dark Rabbit Heart vibe, and the song is giving me Big God with the darkness of Heavy in Your Arms. I love Myrkur’s voice, and I love how she goes high to highlight the Lucifer line as the climax of the song. I love the guitar solo on this song.

I'd only been peripherally aware of Myrkur before I heard this song - they've got some great stuff, but their voices seem to be particularly well-suited to this odd folk/blues/gothic subgenre that Me and That Man have been building - this combination is something truly magical. im spiritual and i know what this song is about and i still love it and i also love behemoth too. i respect everyones beliefs or lack thereof ive been on many different sides of religion and i think everyones side of the story is important to hear. im not a judgemental asshole either. i dont think my beliefs make me better than anybody either. ive been judged by my own belief system before so i get it. anyways id be an idiot not listen to good music just because someones belief system is different than mine lol. this song is so amazing and beautiful and i just cant describe it! so well done.
