Louisa “Lou” Clark (Clarke) lives in a quaint town in the English countryside. With no clear direction in her life, the quirky and creative 26-year-old goes from one job to the next in order to help her tight-knit family make ends meet. Her normally cheery outlook is put to the test, however, when she faces her newest career challenge. Taking a job at the local “castle,” she becomes caregiver and companion to Will Traynor (Claflin), a wealthy young banker who became wheelchair bound in an accident two years prior, and whose whole world changed dramatically in the blink of an eye. No longer the adventurous soul he once was, the now cynical Will has all but given up. That is until Lou determines to show him that life is worth living. Embarking together on a series of adventures, both Lou and Will get more than they bargained for, and find their lives-and hearts-changing in ways neither one could have imagined.

Maybe it's the way they laugh yet being serious m, or the way they act silly yet composed... bottom line is they have a UNIQUE combination of traits (physical or personality) that you CANT find in any one else. Because those treats appear contradictory to each other and yet they exist in one human being in perfect balance and harmony. So basically we love someone when that person is ANYTHING BUT ordinary

i went to watch this yesterday and was completely blown away by it!!!!! my mum, who dislikes watching movies, stayed quiet the whole time (which is a good thing) and even cried more than i did!! i liked the setting, the outfits lou wore, the song and everything. as if the movie wasnt sad enough, they just HAD to put ed sheeran into the mix which didnt help with calming me down for the rollercoaster of emotions i had to put through. all in all a fantastic movie, i'd give it a 9/10...

For someone who hasn't read the book I can see how this looks like yet another cliche movie but seriously give the book a go. It's actually quite different from the typical "romance story around a sick person." This is a love story but its also about SO much more. I absolutely LOVED the book, (I don't know if they will spin the movie to make it a cheesy romance and gear it towards a teen audience) but give the book a chance!:)

This was on last night, I never heard of it and was going to flip the channel and I am glad I didn't! What a great movie, it had all the emotions, sweet, happy, love and sad and repeat. Oh, I was up really late editing clips for my KZbin channel and the movie was on again and I watched it again and this movie was much needed! This is on my list of movies that I can watch over and over! So sweet. Love it! ❤️
