It's weird that he claimed to be in love with Tyler, yet none of his hook ups look like Tyler. Jerrod has lots of issues to work out. And he's yet to do anything epic as a comic! Got the nerve to criticize a comedy GOAT abt a trans joke, only to make a SLAVERY "joke"!

Last week, the rehashed TTC story was weird.and I felt sorry for the mom because her son was calling her the b word on a hbo series. This week I sympathized with Michael, to some degree. I plan to tune in again next week, but wonder who I'll be rooting for week 3, and if by the last episode I'll feel bad for Jerrod.

I don't watch his show just his clips. I didn't know he had a BF when he claimed his love for Tyler the Creator. JC surprised me hooking up randomly with guys from grindr, most of the time famous people keep that a secret

Alot of this is satirical and most of this is to spite his mother... im a 43 yr old mother of 2...I know what I'm talking about. When Tyler said to him "im str8, im big str8" it gave it away that this was satirical. The way he was looking at him, they been close for awhile and are both deadpan funny. Down to the music that they play, its trollish mixed with reality.

Two things: 1. The show’s genre is listed as a comedy so I know it’s satirical and 2. “Big straight” wasn’t Tyler saying he’s heterosexual. It’s was him saying he’s “good/chill” it’s slang.

I think that Jerrod Carmichael hbo Rothaniel comedy special had to have been enough of a success for him that this series is building on that and good for him. If it bothers folks, good. They to be bothered then Honestly, the atrocities in this world that are committed by the phobic majority of the planet need to chill out. His portrayal of relationships is just another slice of life. Hurt people, hurt people. No moral judgement will solve the problems of human suffering.
