as a kid, i used to cry to this song, now crying to this song for a very different reason. i remember idolizing Christina so much, i got my hair cut like hers. she inspired me to sing. and i felt self worth, seeing a girl who i looked up to so much. i hadn't come back to this channel in years, but just saw a post about her death. absolutely devastated. rip Christina. thank you for everything.

This was one of the first videos I saw of hers. Just before I graduated high school. I remember being in a awkward place at the time struggling with school, my parents splitting up. And I remember hearing her music I thought she was beautiful, talented, and that she shouldn't just be confined to a simple KZbin channel. and sure enough she got bigger. I stopped listening to her for a while, got busy with other stuff. It sure makes me sad to come back and see the news regarding her passing. This was the first song I ever heard by Christina. I remember showing it to my son and both of us being impressed by her raw talent. The funny thing is...through the years I have come back to watch some of her songs off and on, but I don't really watch TV and had no idea she was on the Voice. I heard about a young lady who was killed tragically at a concert, but didn't recognize the name at the time. Tonight I was watching a video about the latest signs of the end times and her picture was included as one of the tragic events of the last week and instantly I realized who she was. I feel like I am just now feeling the immense tragedy for the first time even though it's 8 days later. I knew Christine was a Christian by something she had said in one of her videos a long time ago. That gave me comfort. Anyway, I just came here to hear my favorite song by Christine again. As a person who lost my sister tragically and unexpectedly when she was 8 and lost both of my parents in the last 5 years, but have only grown stronger in my faith with every tragedy, I just want you to know I will be praying for your family.

Aleksilly no, it was more like just showing the violence happening in the world today is a sign of the end times. I am not sure I am convinced that we have more violence today than in times past. It always seems the worst when its your "time" but I think the media is what makes us think it's the worst. Not that its not bad, but no matter what time period we live in there will always be gratuitous violence for what seems like no good reason.
