loving this format of video, nice and concise and focuses on your gameplay. I personally enjoy watching the lifestyle aspect of your videos ( leading up to match day) in addition to the matchplay, so if you have room / content for that, do add it as well. Congrats on this win!

Hey Sean, great video! What do you think are the best ways to deal with nerves and negative emotions during a match?
@seanplaystenisАй бұрын
Thank you 🙏, I think accepting nerves as part of the reason why you enjoy playing, it’s abit of excitement really, I’d say be aware of what your best patterns are during those moments of nerves and put your focus into the patterns and your game plan and I’d say try think about the reasons why you love playing to battle the negative emotions, almost try tell yourself you enjoy the challenge and love being in those moments

Mate, that's a solid win against a decent opponent. Your serve was key and you playing smart from the baseline. Show's you've got it when your serve's firing. Goodluck for your next match👍☕️☕️
@seanplaystenisАй бұрын
Thank you mate 🙏serve felt 10x better, he is a very strong opponent. I’ve known him for a long time. Thank you, hope you’re doing well ☕️☕️
@coffeedude2024Ай бұрын
@seanplaystenis just goes to show that the most important shot in tennis is the serve followed by the return and then the plus 1 forehand. Keep things simple mate, be fearless and aggressive and the wins will come thick and fast. All good mate here thanks👍☕️ Also, I hope you enjoyed a celebratory coffee after your win🤣👍☕️☕️☕️

Carter seems like he’s been having a bit too much shepherds pie lately
@jaysontangАй бұрын
great win Sean, you served much better and I like high rally ball on the forehand, for depth, work on your running forehand, you made a couple of mistake and balls coming to you quickly on the forehand too but otherwise well done
@seanplaystenisАй бұрын
Thank you 🙏 really appreciate that, I felt a lot more comfortable in that match

up and running! any pointers on the one hand return, especially block return? you seem to get decent pace/death where i tend to float sitters!

I like the match highlights but the opponent moved really heavily, holy cow
@keanuterrado7295Ай бұрын
Think he gave up somewhere towards the middle end of the first set. Maybe he tried first game second set but gave up after again
@farood5Ай бұрын
He didn't move at all ... Crazy
@alexporter7003Ай бұрын
That's just the dif between someone that plays high level now Vs someone that has stopped and over 30 (even if was 800 ATP and a very good player). County cup not a pro tourney
@farood5Ай бұрын
@ Iv seen recreational players move better after hitting their ball than the opponent . Sure he hits very hard and much harder but then doesn’t move after at all
@keanuterrado7295Ай бұрын
@@farood5 idk if you’re on any kind of tour or not… but this is kinda common with players on lower level tours. They play a lot, and most likely know when their day is just too off to fight back or if their opponent is too good. Hod in this case was just too damn good

Do you think that one hander is a liability in modern tennis?
@seanplaystenisАй бұрын
I think we’re just seeing less of them, I believe that the one hander is still relevant, it’s not too long ago when Stan won the French with a one hander or dimitrov in the top 10, I really think it just depends how good the one hander is
@chrisrenaud3287Ай бұрын
Do you get free grips and fresh strings for free? I imagine that can eat up your budget, every time you have to regrip your racquet and get new strings.
@seanplaystenisАй бұрын
I do at the moment, all things tennis sponsor me so they give me grips and string etc, without that I’d be paying £100 a month atleast on string and grips

Nice win. You looked like you were playing relaxed which hasn't seemed to have been the case lately. Nothing better for getting better at winning than winning matches. Well done 👏
@seanplaystenisАй бұрын
Thank you 🙏 I felt far more relaxed, I think in my next matches I’ll start to get a lot more confidence
