Sorry you haven’t heard from me for a while but what was those things you hammered into the wall at the beginning of the video and what was their purpose

@@michaeljohnson7622 brilliant question, I should of explained them apologies, soooo brick work is sometimes soft and dusty so you can’t trust that the dot and dab will hold it to the wall alone so for added security I fix (insulated board fixings) I drill a 8mm sds hole and hammer home 7m by 120mm board fixings in and they then take the weight off the dot and dab and stop the boards from moving and all that stuff, it’s basically a 2nd fail safe and adds the guarantee the thick insulated boards won’t come apart and crack walls 👍🏻

You it have been better to pva the walls aswell? Before putting the plasterboard on the walls.

@@davidwatson2789 I think that he put SBR on the walls in a previous video but what is SBR and do you dilute it or put it straight onto the wall?
