When I would nod off and fall asleep, I would seamlessly continue from reality to a dream, except the dream was the exact situation I was just in. I wouldn’t realize I had fallen asleep either. For example say I’m peeling a banana (to give to some hair.) I’d be awake, about to peel the banana when I would nod off, then in my dream (which I could not distinguish from real life) I would finish peeling the banana. Then, I would suddenly wake up confused with an unpeeled banana in my hand. Depending on the task’s length, I would go through this multiple times and it was a real mind fuck. Sometimes in the dream, I would start doing something else and then wake up at the point I started, as if I had loaded to a save point in a game. I’m 3 years sober now

I just have dreams about waking up and having a headache then reaching back to touch the back of my head to realize there's a cantaloupe sized hole in it before rushing to the washroom to see that I have no eyes and am grey.

Hollywood has brainwashed us that their fake acting is actually the way to act, when in fact its been below subpar acting our whole lives. Just draining our money. Never knowing any better cause its all we know.

It's so great when I dream how I meet all these interesting characters, then when I wake up I think, what an awesome dream. Then I get really sad when I realize I will never see those people again. This video captured that feeling perfectly.

Joel's Hair gives us more character and emotion in a few minutes than some celebrities give us in their entire career. I believe Joel's Hair has had a long rough road since he was born on those rocks and made his way through the desert despite coyotes attacking, with nothing but a half eaten banana to sustain him. I hope he is doing well.

I thought this was going to gradually slide into one of those behind the scenes celebrity biopic voice overs. Missed opportunity. "The life and fast time of joel haver: when behind the music continues.." Etc. Cue commercial.

I get that this one is generally slower-paced and pretty out-there, but I genuinely love this video. It JUST dropped and I’m sitting here with my coffee watching it over and over. It is funny, but I mainly like the cinematography, dialogue, performances and overall vibe of the video. He always says ‘subscribe for weekly short films’, but this one truly embodied the energy of an artistic, charming film.

Your dreams make a LOT more narrative and conversational sense than mine... but judging by the other comments, this seemingly low level of strangeness (to me) is apparently a normal, everynight level of strangeness for most people... am I missing out on dreams that are slightly easier to follow?
@matthiuskoenig33782 жыл бұрын
Not just slightly easier. Most of my dreams are practically action adventure games, with a fairly logical plot and lots of action. And even the less acitonay ones still ahev a fairly logical through line. Waky stuff can still happen in my dreams, but it's useually the premis thats weird, and weird things don't happen randomly besides that.

It varies. I once had a dream that the characters from Scooby Doo dropped me into a pit of mummies to see what would happen and I was eaten alive. Most of the time my dreams are pretty mundane though. I just have a few weird ones every once in a while.
