His best ever. Simply exquisite. Much better quality than the other postings, so thanks!

My favourite Meades episode. I am so happy to find this here. Thank you, sir. The only creative surrealist non-Meades documentary I love half so much is 'Searching for the Wrong-Eyed Jesus'. Watching Meades' documentaries helps me think that maybe our existence is justified. Also, if England had not given birth to Meades, it probably would have been Belgium.

He made up that stuff about the finch-singers, the underwear museum and the penguin man - surely?

Nope all true. ( I'm a Brit having lived in belgium far too long. Nearly 30 years. Just wish it was actually more surreal. Beats the UK though.)

Hey Maudeeb! - do you realise what you have done? You have saved a Masterpiece for the Nation - better still the World. Sometimes exaggeration is appropriate. God Bless and Thank you. [to say nothing of what we owe Mr Meades]

Meades has his share of snobbish detractors, but he certainly restores my faith in the human capacity for imaginative insight.

@@maudeeb Yea to that! And what insight I swear it is almost possible to hallucinate/riff on them. Tell me have you come across the work of James Hillman perhaps I can return the favour. Thanks again

Anyone know the Music from 2.57 Onwards?

I think it might be from a Belgian avant-progressive rock band called universe zero- if it isn't it sounds so like them, all clunky, industrial, jazzy and orchestral

it specifically puts me in the mind of the music of their album "Heatwave"
