Sometimes I just stop and look at my full dinner plate....A steak topped with butter and salt, several eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. and I begin to laugh... My god, this is actually the right way to eat! - The polar opposite of what we've all been told.... I just wait until I get really hungry and these four foods never ever get boring! - I've been eating like a king while watching everything about me improve tremendously! - Seriously, am I dreaming? All the steak I can handle and it's actually ok??!! Hahahahah!.... It's almost as if we were being lied to in order to keep us sick and the food industry rich. Hmmm.... Glad I figured it out before I caused any more bodily damage. I'm really going to LIVE the rest of my life!

I was fasting 72hrs n mixing in the carnivore diet or low carb. My body loved it. Please don’t give up. I felt frustrated I would feel at first I wasn’t losing but it’s crazy how fast your body adapts n then you start loosing weight. Also do weights and a little cardio. You don’t want muscle mass loss. You don’t have to go full carnivore. I mix it with huge strawberry 🍓, blueberries 🫐, raspberries salad 🥗. Fills n make you full! Hope that helps !!

I know first hand how not eating enough can adversely affect me. For years I didn’t eat much or well. I am a single mom with special needs twins and for years I was sleep deprived, mentally and physically exhausted and just didn’t eat some days. You couldn’t tell by looking at me though because I was obese. I went from 160 lbs before pregnancy to 140 lbs after. Then after I got home with my twins I went up to 250 lbs. what little I did eat was easy to access junk. I was on autopilot for years. I don’t even remember much of it. I’m only recently coming out of that and learning all I can about being carnivore so I can become a healthier fully functioning human being. You videos help me so much. Thank you.

So I am a Mom and I have birthed nine children and I had sagging skin, I started about a week ago and eating more butter and meat period while eating two times a day, more than what I was previously eating I have gained some weight or should I say inches because I haven't weighed myself but measured....BUT it is plumping up those sagging places and my husband notices a difference and says, "You look more feminine in the right places." I have had saggy boobs that have never been big and they are filling up, I got a butt lift and my tummy is taught. I am going to keep it up and remember it isn't going to get fixed overnight and I need to enjoy the journey. Thank-you Dr. Bright, Bella, and countless others. If I could do it over again I would eat fat and protein and have been healthy. I grew up my Mom losing so much weight over exercising and eating low/no fat. I was in dance and because I wasn't stick thin I starved myself, off periods (doctors couldn't answer why), bad acne going on birth control and Accutane at 15 and wrecking my health. If only I knew then what I know now!

Because of you and three other women on KZbin, I've started the carnivore diet 43 days ago and have seen massive improvements of my health. I'm 70, and my arthritis pain is down 90 percent and my back pain is down about 70%. I felt so good today I had to take a long walk, 6.1 miles and when I got home I was not tired a bit; however, I put two blisters in my right foot. Perfect timing for me to hear this. Thank-you. I was holding steady (you might say unable to lose any fat) for my first three months of carnivore. I found I couldn't eat as much as many carnivores eat or recommend to new carnivores. But I have gotten to where I can eat more over time. And now I'm gaining weight in the last month. I'm super frustrated. You'd think I could cope since I've heard many stories from longterm carnivores who gained early on and lost it later. But knowing and coping are two different things apparently. This is a rocky rocky high up ledge I'm hiking trying to do this and surviving weight gain believing everything will keep getting better and I'll lose the weight later.

Same happened to me. A year in I still couldn’t drop the weight until I dropped DAIRY. Then in 3 weeks I dropped 17 pounds. I’ve been carnivore for 4 1/2 years and have lost a total of 45 pounds, going from a size 18 to size 8. If you’re eating dairy (with the exception of pure butter) that’s keeping the weight and inflammation high.

@@goolash9991 Boy, ain't it the truth, G?! I decided to allow myself some dairy beginning just before Thanksgiving this year, thinking as long as it was just pure dairy fat, it would be ok (I'm highly sensitive to A1 casein). So I ate full-fat whipping cream, creme fraiche, sour cream, clotted cream - and only brands that were 100% fat with no added milk! And I was thrilled to confirm that I can have dairy fats! I didn't react to any of it with my usual health issues bc there was no casein in any of it, which was eye opening! BUT the other eye-opening thing was that I GAINED 17lbs in 4 weeks!! I still have some sour cream and A2 yogurt in my fridge, but I'm eating it as quickly as I can. Then it's no more dairy for me!! Ofc, all of my dairy was also highly pasteurized, and so someday when I can find some raw dairy, I will also test that. But I already know that even raw A2 cheese makes me both crave it AND put on weight!

I think fasting is the correct term for the short-term period of not eating (12-72 hours); people of different religions practice this. Not eating breakfast and/or lunch is intermittent fasting. I think these two terms are absolutely fine and convey what the meaning is behind it. To fast comes from Old English "steadfast and firmly" which is in relation to ones dedication to something. Intemittent comes from Latin to mean "to cease" and from English Intermit to mean "between", so you stop yourself doing something but it isn't for a long period of time; it's between a set timescale. I honestly don't think you need another word.

I completely agree with you. One of my issues with Bart is that he rejects some established definitions but doesn't always define what the words mean to him. If you don't use his words he will go off and lose his mind. He does not seem to be the most stable person out there.

I took a nutrition class that my healthcare provider offered. I was told to eat a max of 15 g carbs in each of three daily meals. That's how the light came on in my head because I noticed that I got rid of cravings and the weird need to constantly eat. I began watching KZbin videos Casey Means, Ben Bikman, Ken Berry, to name a few. I have drifted to lower carbs. I kind of did the priming without knowing it's called priming. 😁 It all sort of just happened over a month or two. Now I can describe my eating as keto omad. Maybe carnivore is in my future. I guess we are able to digest carbs at a few percent of today's normal diet but at the moment I'm viewing carbs almost like poison. I just want to stay away from them at least until my organs have all recovered from the massive overdose.

"Talking about what you are going to eat". My husband before Carnivore used to drive me crazy with planning what he was going to eat the next meal, the next day, the next week....Thank Heavens that stopped!!! Now we get meat and plan meals just so that we eat the meat in order of the expiration and that is really all the planning...I always planned 5 dinners a week, because that leaves room for ...I would really like X or left-overs. (X is often meat based pizza or hamburgers with chaffles...teenage boys!)

This is an amazing video! I am guilty of undereating in my past. Hair loss, hormone problems and excess workouts. I’ve been carnivore for awhile but still have cycle issues. I can fast easily enough but I’m wondering if I may need a prime kickstart phase
@harmony86072 жыл бұрын
I share you experiences and your wondering about the priming start. I’m just very hesitant because not only it feels counterintuitive but also the idea of 72 fasting really is scary

I have been strict keto and extended fasting for about 5 years switching to 2mad carnivore in 2023. I have always had a problem under eating (reducing more must be better mentality) I haven't had a cycle for 8 years (was 32years old). I have had significant hair and nail thinning despite vitamins/shampoos etc. How long until your cycle came back? Hair regrowth?

33:09 I don’t think we need a better term than “fasting” because once you’ve gone a certain amount of time without food, often around 24 hours, your body starts using its own reserves. You can extend it as you get adapted to it, but yeah for me by day 2 I’m definitely “fasting” and I drag that out as long as I can :)

Cholesterol is not you enemy! Certain fats are. Yet everyone is different. I was told I would be in a wheelchair by age 30. I am 41 and healthier than ever. Why? Because I have faith in God alone. I highly advise you to learn what that means. There is no promise of tomorrow today. People all over the world are dying at record numbers and most are "perfectly healthy" and not covid sick. Look into it. You are living in deception and so are most people especially since this addiction to internet. People live behind their devices while the world is crashing down around them exactly as described by God in the bible. Yet, they will tune out those truths in their own worlds until it comes to them and their houses.
@keywestfan25032 жыл бұрын
So, the phenomenon of cholesterol has a couple of potential explanations. One, as you convert to fat for fuel primarily, you need something that gets that fat to the tissue. That is the role of LDL. It is the transporter of the fat for those adapted to metabolize it. Another theory is the hydroviscous model of LDL-C. As you eat carnivore, your saturated fat intake increases. This is deposited into cell membranes. Saturated fat is fairly “stiff”, and cholesterol is an emulsifier which helps “soften” it. So, to counteract a stiffer cell membrane from increased saturated fat deposition, your body upregulates cholesterol to help keep membranes soft and supple.

Hi Bella, yes, I would like a part two with your fantastic guests. Could you address backpacking food at some time. I need to carry liteweight foods on a 12 day trip which includes pasta,, rice , beans etc. Can I do a carnivore diet, switch to a carb diet for two weeks and back again? Also, I travel in a camper for 3 months a year, very remote places, not a lot of refrigeration to bring meat. Any suggestions? Thank you, love your channel

I live full time in my caravan and in very remote outback Australia. I have a 60 litre car freezer so I can carry 6 weeks worth of frozen meat and butter before needing to go to civilisation and restock. I live off grid using solar to power my 12volt compressor freezer. Carnivor is very easy with this way of living. 2 1/2 years Carnivor and 7 years full time travelling.

Loved this info from all of you - you guys were talking about “words” to use around the concept of fasting… Bella you asked for any suggestions- well here is my 2cents worth😁😁 Feeding - Fed - Fasting After listening to the truth y’all were talking it’s quite clear there are three “stages” 1. Feeding State- this is where we eat! Our body is in the state of receiving food. 2. Fed State- this is where our bodies are absorbing/nourishing/metabolising etc and this stage can be 4 hours/10 hours/20 hours/30 hours etc depending on the choices of each person and their goals. 3. Fasting State - this is a very prescribed biological state with its own markers… the biochemistry of the body changes into this state at hour 73 of no food… feels very clear👍🏻 Anyway.. thanks so much for all the knowledge and experience y’all shared - I greatly appreciated it x👍🏻😁

I'm a slightly older and less disciplined Stephen. I thought I was doing everything right and still gain weight, arthritic, high blood pressure etc. Turned out I was prediabetic. I had to figure it out myself. All the doctors just told me I was old and wanted to give me pills to correct the symptoms.
