If you email a company about their product telling them what you like about it then they will usually send you out some free coupons for their products. Most people do not take the time. I do because i like to get the coupons and they like the feed back. :) love your videos. Now that i found you i am binge watching you today. :) Big fan here!

Thank you so much. I think like people find like people whether in person or online. I do you tube as a hobby and try to just be me, I figure those people that like my channel would also be attracted to me in person.....and if I'm not their cup of tea, then they can move on. hahahaha I have to say I have been Blessed with pretty awesome and positive subscribers. Thank you Maria. I heard Texas was in the 80's over this past weekend? I love SouthLake and San Antonio. Hope to get back and do some more traveling and our boys love the BBQ and steaks. We have a wonderful heating system that has a soft feel to it, you would never know it was cold outside. Ken and I are both originally from California, so having 4 seasons is quite a change for us. Shelby what GREAT shopping trip you had ! Those tenderloins are fantastic, like they say strike when the irons hot ( that may be a little old for you, LOL). That Price Shopper sounds like a great place to shop though. Stay safe from the snow storm. Patti

Hey Patti it is snowing so heavy here, it is crazy. Ken took dinner to our neighbor and the snow was well over his knees by six inches. We have our drive way plowed but the boys have cleaned off the walkway 3 times already today. The snow plows are doing a great job keeping the roads open and clear. BTW my son said to tell Patti "to say strike like a boss" not sure what that means, but I think it means strike while the irons hot. LOL

Shey Ken and I tried Hello Fresh this week, it is a meal delivery service. They deliver everything to your door that you need to make dinner, it comes in two and four serving dinners and you choose how many dinners per week you want. My girlfriend gave us a 50 dollar off coupon so we tried it and there was absolutely no waste. I'm not sure what your grocery budget is, but maybe this type of service might help? here is the link www.hellofresh.com/tasty/

Oh thank you sweetheart... We have plenty of food and I'm always finding new crock pot meals Like today I prepared the cutting and got everything out of the cabinet Kevin will bring the crockpot to the Kitchen tonight... We do great I'm just always trying to use all the sour cream or like it was cheaper to buy 5lbs of potatoes than it was to just buy 4 for my New England Clam Chowder... Now we don't eat a lot of potatoes as he's trying to loose weight and I've already lost 105lbs lol So now I've got to figure out how to make those potatoes all up lol!!!

Hi Sherry. I purchased the menu plan forms from Carrie Elle several years ago for 5 bucks. I see she now has free printables www.carrieelle.com/free-printables/ and she also has meal planners that she sells. Shelby

I was wondering where you got your meal plan/grocery list worksheet? It looks so easy to use and keep up with. P.S. Now I want to go buy some beef tenderloins for the deep freeze. Loved your video where you showed how to break one down. :)

Cami Thomas Carrie Elle has a online store. She sells a year menu plan and I believe she has some free downloads for just the menu plan page. I bought her downloadable package for five bucks years ago and still use it. It is so worth it to find a meal planner that you like, I feel so on top of things when I meal plan and grocery shop for the week. Things seem to go smoothly. I must confess this past week Ken has been in California and I didn't meal plan 😢 but each week is like a new beginning, we get to try getting the meal plan & grocery shopping done. Shelby

Kelly welcome to my channel, we have a great group here. Kelly when Ken and I were first married there was often more month than money. One time we had 17 dollars for two weeks of groceries. I made homemade bean tostadas with sour cream, lettuce, avocado, salsa, cheese etc. but sadly after a few days all we had was beans and tortillas LOL We ate them breakfast, lunch and dinner, but we were thankful. After that I slowly started building my pantry, and tried to stock the freezer with meat specials. I wasn't a very good cook when we first got married either, but slowly I learned recipes from family, friends and co workers. We currently have a household of ten, so it is really important that I cook because it is expensive for us to eat out. Ken and I worked really hard and planned for retirement in our 20's when our friends were buying new cars and going on fancy vacations. Ken retired at age 50. If we can do it, so can you. Follow the Dave Ramsey plan and you will be OK, we didn't have his plan back then but it is basically what we did. We just moved from LA to NY. Love SHelby PS Ken and I think back on our tostadas eating days and laugh about it, because we were poor but happy. You are young, and beautiful, just be smart with your money and you can have the life you dream of. Best wishes.

Kenisha we have a large pantry and then long term food storage. We recently moved and are still unpacking, buy we will get there little by little. Can't wait until everything gets in order. Shelby

OK I have watch your earlier video with all you food storage so just wanted to know that you still have it.
@TheQueensCabinet7 жыл бұрын
Kenisha yes I still buy in bulk and that saves so much. We hope to get some fruit trees planted this spring, that will help off set the food budget as well. I watched a really interesting documentary talking about with every degree of increase in global warming, food production decreases 10 percent. When you also think that the world population is going to double here in just a few years, you can only imagine how high food prices will rise. A few years ago Forbes magazine predicted we would be spending 42% of our income on food in 20 years. Yikes! I look at countries like Venezuela and see what food scarcity and inflation can bring to an entire populace. We have had it pretty good in America, but that can change; oil prices and food prices have a one to one correlation. If gas goes up, food prices goes up. Sadly we don't know how to do the things that our grandparents knew how to do like canning, growing food etc. Kenisha as mom's we have to share our knowledge with one another and help each other learn how to meal plan, buy in bulk coupon grow food whatever. I hope to do some food storage videos when we get settled because it is easy to store dry goods long term and I'd like to share that information. God Bless Shelby
