WOW $.43 per gallon that would be worth shopping there just for that, I have seen someone else shop at Price Shopper and they get fabulous deals also. Great haul....and a cow too! Hope you have a LARGE freezer.

Yes price chopper has some great deals. I need to do better at matching the manufacturers coupons to their sale items. The gas deal they do is CrAzY. Shelby

Joanne I love potato soup too! I tried to make that potato soup using so many different recipes, but i haven't found one i totally like. I wish I had a good one for that. I usually make a potato leek soup.

Hi Shelby I so love lemon anything it's my fav.I don't have any of those stores near me.I live in the boonies.But I do travel about 30 miles to a old Italian store called rulli brothers.Its such a great store.But sadly I see it changing since the youngers are taking over for the old man.Oh the cheese and pasta and on the pastries.I can even buy my dandy lion greens the best thing you can eat for you health.You have to have your bitters.I do make the preserved lemons thank you.Get to cooking woman I can't wait!That's going be alot of beef depending on the size of cow anywhere from 500 lbs to 800 of beef.But it's so worth it.Blessings to you and yours.

My favorite store of all time is an Italian market, I'm a kid in a candy store. This is our first cow, our neighbor has a huge farm and raises organic beef. His teenagers have mowed our lawn and plowed the driveway since 2009. So when Ken was talking to him about the possibility of buying a cow, he gave him a deal he couldn't pass up. I'm kind of anxious to see how much meat that is. Just doing the cut sheet was overwhelming. Sending Blessing to you too. Shelby

Nice Shelby, I pretty much just go to Aldi or Costco now, I've run out of room now so I just top things off when I go. I have been splurging a little and buying things for my kitchen that I've never had, like a full set of real flatware, full set of real dishes and real set of knives...etc, lol. There might have been a few other things for myself in there too:) BTW, I'm down to only having to take Lisinipril now and off that terrible Metoporol, stuff made me feel like I was going to blow up from the inside out for the last 4 years.

That is awesome John! Ken got off the beta blocker and feels great too. Now he is working on the BP meds. He is trying to lose 7 pounds to get to his army weight and more cardio. Sometimes I think the meds side effects are worse than what they are treating. BTW I love Aldi's, there is one about a half hour from here, the problem is everyone else loves Aldi's too and many times they are picked clean. I told Ken we have to be there right there when they open and not go in the afternoon anymore. It's a good thing to have run out of room, and I am happy that you are getting some things for yourself!!!!! take care my friend, Shelby

hahahaha I have never purchased a cow before, but a neighbor of ours that raises organic beef gave us a great deal. His boys have mowed our lawn and plowed our driveway since they were teenagers (since 2009), and he knew Ken was interested in a cow. We have 3 boys, the little one is 6'5". Plus my mom is with us and I have been cooking for our next door neighbor, she recently lost her husband and has had some health issues. Shelby

I was just thinking "She has to be in the Capital District". I love that we have the Whole Foods and Tjs. if you are ever at Whole Foods around lunch, get their hot bar. Their soy nuggets and pizza is so good!

Brii it is 16 feet and it is so handy to have a large surface like that in the kitchen. My first house was so small you could lay in the hallway with you head in the living room, your feet in the bathroom, one arm in the bedroom and one arm in the kitchen. My kitchen back then didn't have much counter space and had a very small cabinet that they called a pantry. I dreamed of someday having a kitchen that was the heart of our home. :D Shelby

I wish we had those three stores where I live but we don’t the only one we have is a Trader Joe’s but it’s an hour away from me we have Kroger Winn Dixie Walmart and a few mom n pop stores that are expensive we finally got an Aldi last year but I’m not to impressed with it

Sherry thank you for the encouragement! Ken and I visited Oregon a few months ago, so beautiful. I have a bunch more videos coming, we try and do at least one project a week. Shelby
