Hi Shelby, I love to watch any video you do, but I love the menu plan ones. I just had to tell you that living in MD we use Old Bay on everything, chicken salad, egg salad, tuna salad ! My children put it on corn on the cob and I cut it off the cob and scrape the ear and cook it in the microwave because my 85 year old Mom won't eat it on the cob. I also put up enough for the Holidays because my children have to have cream corn and beans since we are originally from Bristol, Tenn they are used to southern cooking. You are truly a wonderful cook and your presentation is exquisite. There isn't a cooking show that could top you. GOD Bless !!!

Everything looks delicious! The juicer works better if you flip your limes or lemons around. The cut side down, toward the holes and then press flat. The juice will come out the holes and you'll get more juice that way too.

Hi Shelby, great recipes and demo's, always find something to try! You can freeze the corn as is in the hucks! When you take them out to Cook they taste fresh picked. A friend of mine buys them by the bushel bag full and freezes the entire bag! My small frig will only hold a couple of dozen ears. Which is plenty for one! Love your shorter hair, looks really good on you! Tell Ken hi! Blessings oxox

Thank you so much for the tip on the corn. Ken is planting some hanging baskets for the porch right now, and we are enjoying a lazy day! Shelby

Recipe and how to for milk gravy, please 😍
@TheQueensCabinet6 жыл бұрын
Milk Gravy recipe; After all the meat is fried, pour off the grease into a heatproof bowl. Without cleaning the skillet, return it to the stove over medium-low heat. Add 1/4 cup of the grease back to the skillet and allow it to heat up.Ingredients-1/3 cup flour-3 to4 cups milk-Salt & Pepper to tasteFor the gravy: When the grease is hot, sprinkle the flour evenly over the grease. Using a whisk, mix the flour with the grease, creating a golden-brown paste. Add more flour if it looks overly greasy; add a little more grease if it becomes too pasty/clumpy. Keep cooking until the roux cooks for about 3 minutes.Pour in the milk, whisking constantly. Add the salt and black pepper to taste and cook, whisking, until the gravy is smooth and thick and comes up to temperature.. Be prepared to add more milk if it becomes overly thick. Be sure to taste to make sure gravy is sufficiently seasoned. We have to go back to California in June, are you guys going to be home? Maybe would could go to dinner with Rick & Cherri?
@nancyditton66186 жыл бұрын
TheQueensCabinet thank you. I want to do biscuits and gravy with that milk gravy recipe!! We will be around most of June. I'm leaving on the twenty fourth for a week. Definitely up for dinner. Would love to have you stay with us too!!!
