What a foodie "trip"! I won't mind being in a quarantine w/ such "treats!" lol Kidding aside, thanks for sharing..was it Joyfutel or Joyfultel? May I ask how much daily is the rate for your hotel (and the cheapest possible for a solo traveller)? Are the set complete meals inclusive, or is there an option for example you just want 2 meals in a day? For the delivery, did you call them yourselves or was it arranged as well (w/ extra charge), by the hotel? THX in advanced for the idea.

Hey Stacey! Thanks for your comment haha. The hotel was called Joyfultel (made a typo on a previous reply). I believe the rate was 2800TWD for one person with 3 meals included. However, I think the rate is likely different now since when we stayed there, they were just opening up. I'm not sure if there's an option for less than 3 meals. Outside of the provided meals, we called delivery ourselves for whatever we were craving. Feel free to let me know if you have more questions!! :)

Hello! The meals were picked by the hotel but they did their best to cater to my tastes! Once they noticed I didn't finish a meal and called to see if they could change things.

Ahh this video is helpful! Food is definitely something I look forward to when quarantining. I noticed there are two of you in a hotel room, I thought Taiwan restricted one person per hotel room? (I’m looking to quarantine with my bf)

Hi Jess! Typically they only allow one person per room but my dad has a documented medical condition so they let us room together. I heard Taiwan is getting a little more strict on quarantine rules now though. Wishing you a good quarantine!

The hotel provided all 3 meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and occasional afternoon snacks. We ordered delivery for desserts or whatever food we were craving. Feel free to let me know if you have more questions! :)
