I just wish we had some of those meat pies. When visited the UK I ate so many. The US does not have good ones. Sigh. I am envious.

Thanks so much for the posts. I’m a Scot from Renfrew but have lived in Tokyo for a couple of decades. Made the Scottish Morning rolls and square sausage. My brother had a British pub here. I put them on the menu. Big Hit! Thank you. x

Seeing how you like cauliflower have you tried it deepfried in batter? Break into florets part steam or boil cool coat in fish batter and deep fry until golden it is stunning

I haven't had scotch broth for years I must try to cook it when the winter comes I use torokeru curry roux that i buy from a Japanese supermarket it costs around £3 but Amazon sell it for around £7

Too many carbs in there! It's a bit strange that during these hot summer days you are serving stodgy winter dishes.

Stodgy? We only get one hot day a year in Scotland that we call 'summer' and its been and gone. Surely when you copy a meal plan YOU personally decide how many carbs you want? No one is forcing you to eat 6 potatoes if you don’t burn off the calories obvs. 🙄
