That steak looks so tantalizing....make mines medium rare, too! I'm after enjoying some of the best pizza I've found in my 25 yrs here, because coworkers gave me a $150 gift card last year, and now they're closing! 😢 So I bought 2 for our cold and snowy weekend and will wrap the slices and pop them in the freezer. (In case you're wondering, foccacia bread pizza with sausage, ricotta, yellow peppers and peppadew peppers (I think you'd like those), caramelized onions and little bit of chili flakes. 😋) The channel Spain on a fork does lots of quick pasta dishes ( with spinach or artichokes for example) and he uses plain yogurt to make the sauce creamy

@@LindaC616 Oh thanks Linda, I'll need to check out the channel 💙 pizza topping sounds fabulous....chilli flakes too?! 💓 Shame it's closing though...happens all the time here 😭

That looks wonderful, and I matched your shopping. Will definitely do the Lorne sausage, I noticed there is a Scottish cafe here in Christchurch that has Lorne sausage advertised, and realised what it was when you featured it a year or so back. Christchurch New Zealand, of course

Lordy, watched your square sausage recipe. For those of us in the US we can use melba toast or croutons. Suggest we either smash it in a quart size food bag or put it in a mini blender to crush. Googled butchers rusk and food every countries alternative. Surprisingly I have/ had everything and can honestly say this is beyond delicious. Thank you Cheryl, you're the only person who's recipes make me rush to the pantry to see if I can make it immediately. Or get me get out and what I'm missing. I'm in Chicago it's 9° feels like negative 6° fahrenheit. Tomorrow expecting negative 30°. Made this, currently in refrigerator. Will let you know how it turns out. Did a pan fry of a small amount, simply delicious. Thank you Cheryl you're changing how I cook to incorporate other countries favorite dishes. Cheers to you.

I remember one time I wasover at my caravan and asked The Butcher to do a delivery for me , amongst the order was a Pope's Eye Steak , I had neither heard of it and my late hubbie had been a Butcher back in the day , I had ordered a Ribeye Steak , so was well disappointed , to me it was more like frying steak , so I learned my lesson that day , never mind it tasted fairly good , must be a Scots thing , a bit like square Lorne Sausage 😊😊😊😊

I love all your videos as always. I do wish I could taste your meals You seem to have so many varieties of sausages. I am wondering what is different about the square sausages. Do they have a different flavor than other sausage, or are they just a square shape? Would it ever be possible to see your kitchen? Keep up the good ideas. Donna Arizona USA

Sometime would you do a full Scottish breakfast? My husband is from Scotland and his father would do "his version" of a full Scottish breakfast. I miss having it as my in-laws are no longer with us. (bacon, fried egg, sautéed mushrooms, fried tomato halves, and biscuits. He never did blood pudding or haggis though. By the way, your fried tomato halves for you Sunday tea reminded me of it.

Since Mr Wft loves macaroni and cheese so much, why don't you make an extra pan when you make it or once a week. Portion it into reasonable size servings and freeze it for him. You/he can take some out microwave when he wants some.
