My mom had Alzheimer's, and it is scary when they roam around at night. I was amazed to learn that if you put a dark rug at the doors, their minds tell them it's a hole, and they don't go out the door because they are afraid to fall in the hole. It worked for my mother, instead of putting alarms on the doors...💔
