Bobby Heenan said that Andre knew that Wrestlemania 3 was his last main event performance. Andre moved progressively more slowly after WM 3, but he made an effort to keep working until 1990, where he finished his career in the WWF as one half of the Colossal Connection with Haku.

I know exactly what you mean. Seems last time I saw him before his sad death, he looked the exact same but not the case here. And as someone just turned 40, while I don't mind as I stay in shape and still feel like I'm 18, but I know exactly what you mean. I feel like I can separate every year up to 25, then 25-40 seems like one lump. Hope that makes sense, lol. Anyway I totally agree with you.

I remember Hogan VS Andre The Giant on ESPN and really it was one nobody knew who would win they hyped it perfect and they should've hyped Flair VS Hogan the same way hype for a year like boxing , have them beat all the same guys but with their finishers but flair Cheats to win with the Brain in his corner then at WM they meet for one match

The problem with Hogan vs Flair is its obvious who'd win in a fair match but Hogan vs Andre there was a question mark.

@@donvader2099 It was very limited before 1988, they sold out MSG in New York for a "closed circuit" broadcast of WM3 from Pontiac Michigan. They would never had done that if people could just order it from home..
