At my first visit to the Cocteau Chapel I confused him with Costeau. It was my first month in France. For many years I acclaimed to all my friends visiting how wonderful that this man could paint and film under the sea. Another more than excellent video.

What a delight your filming is, there is nothing as wonderful as an aristocratic wreck of a French villa with such an artistic history to get the Artistic juices flowing, you have cracked it again I look forward to viewing your offerings ..always Thank-You,Merci beaucoup Indeed! PS the Riviera cliff drops into the azure seas are just beautiful.

Thanks Sarah. There is a plan to restore it but there has been a plan for a decade as far as I can see. Maybe it’s better as it is?

Hi Tim, many thanks for all your videos and information on this wonderful area. We’ve learnt a lot, and the sights of Villefranche kept us dreaming over the winter lock downs. Glad to say we’ve just escaped uk to revisit our favourite place for a few days. Trying out some your walks.

This was utterly brilliant Tim! Love the history and atmosphere of it there! You are great at narrative and make a great host! Keep up the excellent walks and facts! While it’s grey, cold and wet here in Blighty, this is a welcome dose of sharp light, gorgeous homes and blue sea!

What a lovely video. That coastline is really stunning! The views are truly incredible. That old villa looked amazing. What a shame to see it in such a state. Did I see a sign that said it’s being restored?
@MeandMonAmi3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Andy. There’s a plan I think. It’s on the market for 8 million with permissions( I think )but the restoration will cost a lot.. I kind of wish it could be preserved as it is and opened to the public as a kind of Denis Severs house.

Nice, the two red chairs at the end of the video were originally blue ,azur, and were always scattered along the promenade des englais in the 80s

Done versions of this walk many times, but never could work out the difference between Mont Alban and Mont Boron. All seem to be the same to me.
@MeandMonAmi3 ай бұрын
I know what you mean. I’d say the fort area is mont Alban and below that where more houses are on both sides of the mountain is Mont Boron
