hi guys i was practicing with my hitting net i was just wondering when i squat down on the downswing push off my front leg i noticed i feel more powerful is this a good move
@bkuyk93174 жыл бұрын
Meandmygolf 1 thing I noticed in this video is there was no mention when discussioning grip about how much pressure should be applied. Also, I was told by a good coach I had to always place your trail hand first on the club when aligning and setting up to the golf ball. He said this is opposite of what is normally taught or not mentioned on conventional lessons. His reasoning for this was simple: if you place your lead hand on the club then your trail hand, your shoulders turn and now are slightly open. By placing your trail hand first followed by your lead hand..your shoulders stay square to the target. Any thoughts on this. Lastly, in nearly every video on golf online, there is never any mention on which hand to deliver the club to the ball. Specifically, does the lead hand go first or do you fire with with trail hand like you would swinging a hammer. Thank you.

@@bkuyk9317 Thanks for the questions. Regarding which hadn't first. I don't really think it makes much difference but if that works for you then that's good. When it comes to pressure in the hands and which hand is dominant this is really all down the the person as we all feel so many different things. The important thing with grip pressure is not to create too much tension. I would advise testing a few out to see what works for you. My question would to you would be which hand do you feel like controls the motion and which one gives you the best results?

Hi Guys!! Just saw you with Danny Maude on his video about senior golfers. My husband and I found your information incredibly interesting and will try it out this weekend! I'm a beginner golfer ( 5 months into it) at 60 and had spine surgery last October. My husband is a former long drive competitor (Texas, 1999) but now deals with titanium rods and other hardware in his back. I just tried the higher tee after I got my (New/used) 2008 Taylormade driver cut down to my size and will now try the right foot spayed and back. I've struggled with the roll of my hands so I'm looking forward to practicing that drill also!! Thanks so much and we will look forward to exploring your other videos!!!

To me i feel like it helps me rotate my wrist through impact, but also I feel like it lessens my distance. I use to use the “normal” interlock grip but I’m not sure why I changed it up. Any thoughts? Why are some golf pro instructors getting away from teaching pupils the swinging correction from inside to out, to fix a slice? I keep seeing both methods. Some instructors tell you to swing from the inside out, yet, other instructors are saying why this is not a good method to practice anymore or not the most effective way to fix the swing/attack angle and more…?? Curious if you all are on the same page with that or if you find that this inside to out method works well with fixing a slice or correcting an attack angle in general. Maybe it wasn’t MeAndMyGolf but I thought maybe you guys were the ones I saw in a recent video talking abut the inside to out method wasn’t an ideal fix. Thanks ahead of time for any response on this.

I'm doing everything wrong. My grip is wrong. My club path is wrong. My club face is wrong caused by my wrong grip. I gotta use the bottle trick for my club path you showed in another video. Strong grip just feels so awful though. And my club face is pointing at the sky on my backswing. How I manage to get the ball going straight at any point is a miracle. I do slice on my long irons and woods a lot. Signed up to the free trial. One thing I don't like straight up is the very low resolution of the videos. This video on youtube is available in 4K. You only have 720p on your site it seems. That's a deal breaker for me. The videos are just unwatchable. edit: I found one coaching plan that has 4K, but not much else. BTW, 1080p is fine. I just can't watch 720p.
