My head was filled with an innumerable amount of swing thoughts. My game suffered. Well, I’m back! Piers and Andy are my exclusive coaches on KZbin! No need to watch any others!Thanks, gentlemen!

Nice video. U r doing great service for the game of golf. Golfers like me are benefiting across the globe. Could you please clarify whether the right elbow should remain close to body during back swing( such is the case with Ben Hogan swing) or as you said that right arm should provide more depth by being away from body.
@meandmygolf.6 ай бұрын
Thanks. Instead of trying to get it close to the body, Maybe a better thought is having the elbow point more in. You just have to make sure the face is able to square up though. You you lose shots to the right then you need two address that before the elbow.

@@meandmygolf. Funny you ask because it’s two parts of this video! Took my first personal lesson, had trouble with ball striking on my irons, and after helping me with hip rotation and wrist flexion, I’ve been striking my irons pure. It’s an amazing feeling! My question is: do you change your shallowing of the club for your scoring irons? 9 - AW - can you achieve the spin you may want with shallowing this much?
@meandmygolf.6 ай бұрын
No you don't want to adjust the shallowing for clubs. We just want it close to plan in the down swing so you can move better and deliver it on a relatively "neutral" path. The attack angle and loft will create the spin.
@robinroth71756 ай бұрын
It's funny, I've been working a lot with my rotation and had some issues at the start with getting it right, I needed to feel that my right foot did the rotation (did a drill with a frisbee under my foot) to be able to actually rotate enough and when that happened I saw great results but after a while I got worse again because I was starting to rush my upper body because I felt like I had a long way to go but when I switched to feel like my arms started the swing I'm seeing the great results again.

Man... These guys have some great tips, and im sure they work for people in the right context, but the problem with them both talking is they both push ideas that work for them and overload the viewer with a million ideas and concepts to think about, which overcrowds a golfers mind and they wonder why they cant make a shallow to 'get shallow' ... This is a video with ideas a golfer will go through over months and months, possibly years of coaching.... it's too complicated, they need to simplify and apply thoughts in a more basic manor... ive stopped consuming these guys content because although what they say is technically correct, its too much in such a short time to try and think through and apply to your own game. Good on them for putting the ideas out, but it seems to make golfers worse not better with the over crowding of information.
