I watched the video this morning, then took the drill to my local course. And I tied my best score ever on this course. I have never hit the driver this good. Thank you so much!!

Beyond the fact that this channel has helped my game immensely (and both of you are very entertaining), ya'll are definitely No. 1 in the "explanatory circle/arrow graphics" game.

Another good video thanks. I hit a lot of 3 woods off the tee for accuracy at my home course, do you advise the KBomb driver set up also for 3 woods off the tee or is it more like the fairway wood set up from the fairway?

Exactly the problem I was having at the range the other day. I was slightly pushing most of my drives. Can't wait to try this tip out and see if it fixes me!

Great feedback and drill. I suffer from the same thing, but to a much more drastic extent. The "K-bomb" set up...can you also apply that to iron shots despite that you are trying to hit down on the ball or is the same up different? Can you use the blue dot drill with irons as well? Thank you guys and great job as always!

I was measured on GC2 HMT today. Here's all the data and feedback I can provide. I was hitting fades all day with an occasional straight pull. Launch was consistently 12 degrees, path was 4-5 out to in with a face angle 0-1 to target, AoA at 1.8 degrees UP, strike was heel side of center consistently and sometimes drifted high on the face. Side on view showed head movement in the back swing back away from target and stayed there on the downswing. Noticed the sway back, a little bit of a casting movement with the hands, spin numbers varied depending on strike (2,200-3100 rpm). In general my backswing begins considerably under plane. I'd like something that would improve my path number to neutral and get my contact more toward the toe. I love my AoA right now and noticed a lower tee height moved launch and AoA more negative. I don't know if alignment (no down the line camera) was open but I've struggled with hips and shoulders pointing open in the past. My grip is 3 knuckles strong. Pull shot seems to be a stall of the upper body into impact followed by a hand flip. I'd like to build around consistent rotation that promotes a better path. Any thoughts on ways to improve alignment checks, and building better leg work to improve strike and path would help or maybe start with a more on plane backswing. Don't know where to start here and what to look for or feel to know I'm making strides in the right direction.

Hi Piers and Andy! First I want to thank you guys for a great show! Been following you for a couple of years and love the show. Keep up the good work! I've just finished reading Ben Hogans book of fundamentals (the golf bible) and some questions pops up in my mind. He wrote that the elbows should point at each hip bone and the inside of the elbows should point at the sky. I tried this and I just felt tension in the arms. But I feel I can hold the triangle (formed by my arms and chest) for a longer time. And get a much wider backswing. He also wrote that in the setup he wanted the knees pointed in towards each other. To prevent lateral movement (swaying). I tried this to. It works fine with shorter pitch/chip shots when you don't want so much hip rotation. But feel awful for full turns. It felt like I'm disabling the hips from rotation. Do you have any thoughts on this? I'm also struggling a lot from tension when I'm setting up for the ball. I feel like the left arm gets stuck behind my left chest and can't really feel I can swing freely. Do you have any tips or drill for this? Best regards Keijo from Sweden. And once again thank you for the show.

Question, the weight being on the right "center" or heel of the foot, does this work for short, mid & long irons too?

love the videos gents....I have watched this one a few times now and obviously tried it BUT....I still seem to be slicing the ball (keeps going to the right for some reason...........I am lining up and seem to be getting a good contact with the ball initially but then it always seem to fray to the right......I'm starting to think it maybe the old woods that I'm using.......when I'm next out i may get someone to film the swing and send it to you if that ok.....unless you know otherwise. keep up the good work though guys. thanks again

Marty Mc A couple things work for me. 1) Wide and deep backswing, left arm pushing out. Finish with your shoulder behind the ball and weight on rear heal. 2) In transition, squat toward front forefoot to move off rear heal while simultaneously holding off shoulder turn. 3) Feel like rear elbow begins to lead on downswing then throw the clubbed through the ball from your rear thigh. If you're not releasing the face naturally, then practice short back-and-forth swings swings while rolling your forearms to program that feel.

Andy, I've noticed you have put on more muscle. Has that added yards to your drive? Serious question btw.
@meandmygolf.8 жыл бұрын
Hi Keith. I think it has added a little yes as i a little heavier now so more mass behind the golf ball certainly helps. The key is to stay mobile and keep your speed.

It really has nothing to do with it if you think about it professional girls hit it almost as far as guys with little to no actual body building. Its more about flexibility, balance, core, and form.

Am I being stupid or is a push fade for a lefty a draw?
@MCTutorialmaker8 жыл бұрын
Na
@LesPaulBJJ8 жыл бұрын
Draw, fade, pull, push, hook, slice etc are all where the ball goes in relation to the body. Left and right do not apply. A lefty "pulls" the ball to the right and "pushes" the ball left.
