So, Whitesnake was one of my favorites on MTV and this song was in my top 2 of theirs. This was my first time listening to Dimash. He sang this really well and it was eerily similar to the original- very nostalgic. My observation based on this one song, is that I don't feel that I know Dimash. He replicated but didn't flavor it in his own iindividual way. THIS is fine if it is your desire and I know he has a gigantic fan base, but this did not grab me. Dan Vasc grabbed me one year ago with Amazing Grace in about 10 notes. The rest of the song just kept escalating my awe of his vocal abilities. And I have been following Dan as much as I can ever since. Dan makes every cover his own, some in very radical ways. It is so much fun to hear one of his videos for the first time, like a roller coaster- you know there are going to be sudden ups and downs and twists and turns. All you can do is buckle up and hang on until the ride is over. And you are left with a faster heart beat and smiles and wanting to take another ride..!!! 🎢 I am really enjoying your reactions and my compliments to whoever raised you. You are kind and respectful which it so refreshing. 👌❣
