Just taking a wild guess on the plot twist (probably totally wrong) The killer is his daughter and he is protecting her.

I'm thinking the guy telling him about the trap was only one guy of many who were planted by the police to intentionally spread the word to as many as possible, hoping to "rattle" the killer. How or why that could give the police an edge......I got no idea, it's just a thought.

My interest in an M. Night Shyamalan film has not been piqued since his film "Glass." That said, when I saw the teaser trailer for "Trap," it honestly gave me a little hope that he may finally give us a good film with this one. This full trailer still makes me feel that hope. Fingers crossed🤞🤞

I can't describe how excited I am for this movie. Check out the new trailer for Longlegs, too. That movie looks like it's going to be great, and the trailers have been so great at not giving any clues to what is actually going on.
