We loved Chicago, it was great! Wow we missed the popcorn and donuts. We where there in Nov. so no beach and we are From Seattle and not huge sports fans. Wish we could done the parks, but we did go to the zoo. Our kids where a bit older when we went. Love all you and miss your live videos, I missed the last of you all together. Hope you are all well and staying safe.

Thanks so much for watching, and I’m really glad you’ve been here to Chicago with your kiddos! Sorry about our November weather, but it sounds like you still found some of the fun stuff to do! And we actually filmed this video on the same day as our livestream we did together, haha!

Something about pizzas & waiting, go during an odd time. I went to Chicago for a business trip once. I went to Giordano's at around 2:30-3:00. There was probably two other people in the place not counting the bartender & waiters/waitresses. If you have kids, if you don't wanna wait around, go then.

My favorite place in the greater Chicagoland metro area (yes, I am making a joke) is Fermilab. They have great tours and it is a great way to get tweens their sci-fi/sci-reality fix.

I visited Chicago two or three times about 10 years ago. But it sounds like it's become so unsafe now. Any safety concerns? Safety suggestions?
@MeansToTravel2 жыл бұрын
I live in Chicago now, and I usually feel safer here than when I lived in NYC. Treat Chicago like you’d treat any other big city: avoid dangerous neighborhoods, try not to dress or act in a way that screams tourist, ignore and avoid anyone who makes you uncomfortable, and keep an alertness about you when you’re in public.
