I liked the presentation and am envious of the set up.

thanks for the video. would be nice if we saw it on a spectrum analyser though. with more details on the frequencies. but its nice to see and all this is good valid information.

No need for Spectrum analysis , its not about Noise its about Ripple , Ripple we see, tho i expected it, im not sure if i do this daily am i an electronics engineer :) since i do , and i completly expected this result

Maaaaan, I have two "obsolete" Vicor power supplies that I'd love to get schematics for. Three phase AC comes in and gets rectified to 280vdc, which feeds into a large toroid that is pulsed by the main board MOSFET. Coming off the main board is a supevisory board, a driver board and a backplane with several removable DC output cards. There are several small cooling fans at the rear of the enclosure. Super complex piece of gear. It sure would help to have a schematic😁
What type of capacitors are used in the filter In the first slide with the three capacitors? are they electrolytic or ceramic, and what are their values? Also what type of capacitor is used in the LC filter as well? I did not see that in the explanation. Thank you very much.
