I bought that same pack of 1.5mm axle wire. Comes in handy at times! I clip them off with the wire cutter on a pair of regular pliers. Works well. 😎👍

Thanks Lance! Pliers certainly do a cleaner job on the styrene rod than on the metal axle...hehehe

I guess I need to buy a ruler on Amazon. I usually eyeball it, then try to fabricate something, and then buy it. 😂. That red looks great!

I had the ruler sitting there the whole time. Just didn't use it until after! LOL Thanks for checking it out Billy!

Well, I think we’ve all been there Tim. 😂. At least you’ve got plenty of axle material now. Nice work getting through that issue though. Chassis looks great, even in silent mode. 😉. Have a great finish to the week, my friend.

Thanks Kyle. I am good for 150-200 axles now! LOL Cold and snow are back here, so just keeping the fire going! Have a good one!

@ you’re welcome!! And plenty of axles isn’t bad. we still have a heat wave for 2 days. 40 tomorrow!! Then more absurd cold 🥶. Stay warm, my friend.

Ahhh, modern technology ..... One nice thing about using styrene rods - it glues far easier to the styrene wheels!! I've done that where I've cut a metal axle too short ... I got metal rod to replace it, and had all manner of cutting it! I thought about styrene rod after that .. I hadn't thought about going to Amazon to get rod in bulk - with as much fabricating as I do, it would likely be a LOT cheaper!!
