Thank you, good to show how the concentric vent terminal can recirculate. Too often field fabricated vent terminals don't look anything like the diagrams in the manufacturer's certified installation instructions with recirculation almost guaranteed in such cases. Look for rust on the burners too.

Thank you. I have a concentric flue pipe like that and it was placed such that the exhaust comes out 5-6" from an AC condenser and I am seeing the fumes (on a cold day) come back toward the house so i would say it is likely I am getting the fumes pulled back in. But how do you drill that hole in the intake without having the plastic shavings get inside the furnace?
