Hello Jim another great video. With heating season Just around the corner is there any thought of furnace or boiler video vitals report?

Yes, we have one for Gas Heating. We are going through the workflow now to make sure that everything is ready.

I don't know why I can't get vital score or system score. Premier is unlocked

You need to have all nine probes and the system must be stable to get a vitals score.

Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t you previously say that to gauge up to a piece of equipment each time you come to service it is not a good practice? Using some thing like Sensi or just your temperature clamps is more proper?

Yes, that is correct. The first time however you need to put gauges on the machine because 50 to 70% of systems do not have correct charge. Once you know it’s correct you don’t ever want to put on the gauges again unless it’s absolutely necessary. This is how we get a baseline for products like smartAC to monitor from.

Typically you have a “test mode” or a process to run it at full capacity. At that point you treat it like a standard system.

What do you recommend to run vitals for two systems at once for properties that have 2 or more?

You would need two kits, LP, HP, SLT, LLT, ODA, SA, RA, Supply static and Return Static. 9 probes. And I would at that point use two devices to run two instances of the app. The other option is to move everything around.

is it 5 qbits per cust/yr to unlock the vitals? Or its it 5 qbits for the year to unlock it for every system?

It would be for that 1 system for 1 year which include the premium features

5 bucks for the system for the year. Furnace/ Ac / HP. You can use the feature as much as you want in that year

Great visual Jim! I noticed that you put the static probe in the same direction as airflow, I was always told to insert it towards the airflow. Is that correct or preference?

Parallel to the airstream. It doesn’t matter if it’s pointed towards or away as long as it’s parallel

Would absolutely love to use the vitals reports but my company would never pay for the Qbits. Most of us that use measure quick in my company do so on our own and have purchased our own probes. I guess I’ll just keep using measure quick classic and taking screenshots. Lol
