Measuring Cylinder Taper

Audio is a little messed up, apparently I had a finger over the mic at one point... I would say that .002" or less taper is fine for a good used block. You can get away with a little more if you're just building a stock cruiser engine. Cylinders should not be bored unless taper or out-of-round is significant, removing cylinder material just makes the block weaker and can prevent the ability to rebuild the block in the future.
