Return that tailgate dampener and get the factory one it hide behind the light. It’s a better cleaner look. I’d add rear wheel well liners and mud flaps and maybe nerf bars. It’s totally coming along. Loving the upgrade videos😀

the best use i found for the drivers side rear seat space is my traction boards. it is a tight fit but you can fit 2 boards in the carry case behind the drivers rear seat.

Thanks your sharing! Ive got the truck camping fever. I’m about to setup a 1987 Mazda B2200 pickup for truck camping. It was my Grandpa’s truck and only has 84,000 miles on it. I don’t plan on going cross country but it’ll be ideal for weekend trips a couple hours away from the house at most…. So this will give me an opportunity to have more time on the water.

I use the plastic 30cal ammo boxes from Harbor Freight behind the driver's side back seat for storage, they fit like a glove. They mark them down to 1/2 price so be patient and grab some on when they go on sale. Congrats on joining the F150 crew.

Add protective flares so the the larger tires can be offset enough to not hit and impact your turning radius... I did Power Wagon flares on my Ram and it looks nice and protects the truck without any rubbing....

I just spent $4000 on wheels and tires, 20×10 -18 offset fuel rebels with some bfgoodrich ko2 295 55 20. Looks sweet and they only stick out about 2 inches. I put them on a 2020 Ram. I also installed a 2inch level kit.

0 offset with like 11.50 would give u like 3/4 to inch outside the ears the stockers are positive so if u do go negative I wouldn’t go much -12 would definitely be an inch or more if u want a 12.50 u gonna have to go like 3” n trim at full wheel I’d go with like 295 60 or 65 or spend the extra and get a 34 x11.5

I have a question about your old truck. Was it just old or did the recent mods cause the malfunction? You seamed so excited to do the mods then life ruined it, i dont like you didn't get to enjoy them. Are you going to put the mids on the new truck (if they can go on another sorta same type vehicle

It's a 2009, 217k miles. It had already blown the motor once before, 100k miles later it broke again, nothing to do with the recent exhaust mods. Things just happen. It's full of rust, some electrical gremlins, etc, so I just decided to upgrade. It will get rebuilt again at some point and changed up.

Try leaving Nebraska for Colorado and climbing a mountain with rough terrain in a stock 2wd (rear wheels) 165 horsepower 30 year old van and get back to me. I have the odd suspicion that the brand new 4wd truck with clearance and more than double the horsepower is going to be better suited for the job. Just barely...
