Sometimes tips and tricks can be so much more helpful to the average crafter than a full blown tutorial. Thanks for sharing this- I must admit, I think the icecream stick trick is awesome. Especially if you have a room that's eeeever so slightly off- you can find where the measurement changes!

Well I feel smarter now. Never even noticed the movement at the end of the tape measurer OR the nail head grabber thingy! Enjoy your tips and trick videos. Thanks Sean!

Thanks for the helpful tips, they will sure come in handy! Never knew that about tape measures.😅 Can confirm the "stick method" works, it's my go-to, especially when installing things like flooring, or wallpaper. Except I use paper scraps and tape instead of the popsicle sticks. Works excellent for when your house isn't square, or when you need to get awkward measurements like bay windows.

Thank you. I appreciate your insight. I would use dowel, but popsicle sticks were close at hand for demoing! 🤗🤗

Another easy way to measure is to use two pieces of paper, where they overlap, slap on some tape and take it out and measure it :) Really good to have options tho :D so tyfs :)

Very true! Very similar to using the sticks and clips! Thank you for the idea! 🤗🤗

Learned a new thing or 2. Never understood the movement at the end of a tape and tge nail head hole. If I have a tricky measure, a string of yarn or string works

Great suggestion. My only issue with using string and yarn is that they stretch! Thank you! 🤗
