Thank goodness she didn't. That was the worst-ever request for forgiveness: he doesn't even manage to _pretend_ that he's sorry, and instead pulls that lame attempt at turning it around on her. And either way: she still dead, he took something like half a century of life from her, and maybe worst: he doesn't even get that he _should_ apologize. I really like that this serial killer wasn't depicted as impressive or even glamorous or mysterious: he's simple hateful and not very bright.

Okay, let’s unwrap this like it came from a butcher’s! Meat Cleaver was: -Well paced, fluid and well acted! -Very funny -Characters made sense -Extremely well shot -My personal favorite thing is the Devil’s eyes, the contrast between the whites and the red skin, really defined the look!

My issue with it that no one seems to notice or talk about is that they put the female characters as the “good” characters and the males as the bad. Though that’s just something I’ve noticed tends to happen with almost all Heaven vs hell personifications, you often see God or the angels being portrayed as women but you never see the devil as one. It’s subconscious sexism but no one sees it as such

Oh my G, this short was so fuckin gooooood. I loved the sets and costume design -- the juxtaposition between the stark, almost sterile whiteness of the first setting (trying to keep it at least somewhat vague just in case there's anyone reading the comments before actually watching it) and the cluttered yet purposeful grunginess of the second setting is *chef's kiss*. Especially when you start to look and notice some of the details, like the dartboard with the crumpled up drawing. All of the actors did amazingly, the awkwardness in the second half was hilariously palpable and I am pretty certain that the line "you think someone just set the thermostat to 'Fuck Me in Public' mode?" is going to live in my head rent-free for a hwhile. That and the "love you too" before the "it's for you." Well-written, funny, clever... I think this is my new favorite short film!

I love the concept of this medically, imagine if you're in a hurry going somewhere then Bam cleaver to the dome. You might feel it as a bump to the head, or a sharp headache that follows you throughout the day. Neurologically buy some miracle you miss anything vital, you might be knocked out for a bit or not. Blood flow is interrupted but stable the skull griping the cleaver steady and firmly. This woman could be having this conversation with a doctor, the horror burned into the doctors eyes. She could probably even pull, move and jerk the womans head around like that. But as soon as someone rips the blade out of your head, lights out. Surgery to reattach or cauterize major vessels and arteries would be a grueling and daunting undertaking just short of a miracle. Honestly she might have a better chance of surviving by leaving it in, though infection would be a never ending battle. I'd love and appreciate a neurologists view of the matter. Tbh it'd make one hell of a piercing, that'd if I had the decision to keep it in to avoid the surgery. With some luck "which I don't have" I'd only have some minor memory issues and would have to take antibiotics for the rest of my most likely short life. Wow 10/10 this short was the best thing I've seen in a while. I really wish God and the Devil were my parents... or just had guardians or family in general... But yeah great stuff I can't wait to explore this channel.

Honestly thought that he was going to reveal she tore his eye out, giving him a mortal wound, and as he was dying, he took the cleaver and cut her head open... so that at the end, they're together again in hell, with her wielding the weapon this time.
