Hey I got a question. So I was thinking of making pixel art animations for youtube but I don't know how I would add the audio to the animation, what software did you use to add the audio and how would you deal with lip-sync?

For adding audio you need to get used to any video editing software. I used blender for the editing. Lip-sync is pretty straightforward if you know the basics of editing.

Dang, the CRT shader really adds a lot of texture to all the flats. Was the art all made in Aseprite? Or did you use Blender at all to create 3D models for the characters to reference or even render as pixel art?

Most of the animation was done in aseprite and you can check out a sample timelapse on my instagram account. I did do some 3d to pixel conversions for the smoke and bus animation in the intro for example. But even with that I still had to do cleanup in aseprite because rendering low res in blender gives messy pixels and I wanted to maintain that clean pixel aesthetic. I'm thinking of doing a tutorial in future of the process. Thanks for the kind words!

It's a custom shader made in blender. It's a bit overkill but the screen is a physical model with textures to simulate crt pattern (slot mask).
