I didn't realise it was possible to make cubed meat more consistent by swapping the blades and meat orientation around and binning the end slices, but I do now. I don't have a dog to feed them to, so I will save them for punching!

Hi Bob, thanks for another great vid. Which meat cutters do you find the best, the plastic or wire ? Any difference,? Thanks mate.
@bungholebob Жыл бұрын
Hi Glen, Thank you for such kind words, appreciated. I like the MAP meat cutter as I feel I get more consistency in size, but they're both very good. The wire are smaller to transport though which is good as we all take so much kit to our pegs nowadays. But I have blades for everything from 5mm to 10mm with the MAP and that would equate to 5 seperate wire cutters for 5mm 6mm 7mm 8mm 10mm.

I poor hot water over my meat to remove some of the fat. I find this helps meat sink better. Do you do anything like that?
@bungholebob Жыл бұрын
Hi Ash, Depends on size of meat, generally the smaller the more it wants to float, so pouring hot water over it or pumping it in a pellet pump will help it sink.

Don't cube it . use a pellet punch .

Hi Bob do you ever clean your meat off to get rid if any fat as will effect the way it falls
@bungholebob Жыл бұрын
Hi Paul, No, I have in the past tried boiling water etc, but the type I am using on this video is not that bad. Some brands carry a lot more fat.
