What is happening here? Why is the host wearing a mask and why did that dude come kiss Meat?

@@PowderBlueML if I remember correctly, Meat Loaf was a guest at another German show, where he kissed that host on the lips. So this host wanted to be funny by putting the helmet on, so Meat couldn't kiss him. Hence the explanation of the kiss later in the show.
