Genovese sauce is a slow-cooked, onion and meat sauce associated with Italy's Campania region, especially Naples. typically served with ziti pasta.
INGREDIENTS (4 servings):
600 gr beef for stewing
1,5 kilograms of yellow onions
1 medium carrot
1 celery stalk
250 ml of dry white wine
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 bay leaf
salt and freshly ground black pepper
320 gr of Ziti or Rigatoni
Parmesan cheese to serve
