Mill Scale Offset Smoker Walk around & Tour
Join me as I drive to the BBQ Capital of the world, Lockhart, TX, to pickup our newest offset smoker. Matt & Caleb Johnson, co-owners of Mill Scale Metalworks, built my dream smoker. A 529 gallon offset from 3/8 steel. The patina look and white wheels highlight the looks on a smoker that cooks Texas BBQ like a dream!

One tip would be to have extra length on the damper so it could be slid up and locked into position so that it can act as a rain stop in the case you get surprised by weather. Maybe there's a reason not to do that, but just a thought.

Need to put some stops on the hinge or some kind of high temp bumpers for where the counterweight hits the back of the smoker when opened all the way. If it has a neat high temp clear as they say, this will quickly wear causing damage to the back top of the smoker. Otherwise, this is an incredible smoker and I love the trailer wheels!
