“Why do divers always drop into the water backwards?” Because if they fell foreword they would land into the boat. Just a little diver humor. Keep up the good work Jay!

Every Musky my father or I caught when I was a young teen in the early and mid 70's while vacationing at Lake Kabetogema was boatside. Was always a blast watching the fish chase the lure to the boat. Enjoyed the episode. Brought back good memories...

Very cool. 4:10 perfectly summarizes a smallmouth's demeanor.. It still takes a second to grab a bite even though you guys are all over it. Also, to 'choose' one specific bait at the start of the day and catch your target fish with it is something that simply doesn't happen very often..especially when it comes to muskies! Well done, pal!

I LOVE beachcombing reservoirs across the midwest. On reservoirs where irrigation drawdown impacts them, there are LOADS of treasures to be found. Especially if there is a stocked walleye population, one can really fill out a tackle box or two!

The old school Mepps caught everything for me in my young years. Certainly my favorite for quite a few years. I hadnt picked one up for 20 years and a customer had one in his cooler. We caught 13 big Kingfish on a #4 and laughed for a couple hours. Really does catch everthing.

Amazing! Jay remember that conversation when you and Aaron came to grab some things from figure 8 and we chatted in the Safeway parking lot? You guys were headed to Lac Seul to film Muskies. I remember telling you that you did the right thing not going to school for photography, when you mentioned you weren’t sure if you did the right thing. I said it then and I’ll say it again the only reason you need to go to school is to be the teacher my friend!

I'm sure Jay knows what he's doing but I about had a heart attack when he grabbed his rod halfway up trying to net that Musky. I've broken a rod that way, but I was probably allowing too much tension. A very enjoyable show, so often shows make it seem like the musky bites come thick and fast.
