There was so many ways that the story could’ve went. They could’ve faked ghost death and the lawyer over the trust fund tell ghost what he was up to. Remember Lobos said Ghost could be the biggest drug dealer even bigger than Lobos. Since Ghost knew Tyriq wanted to be in the drug game so bad and it brought out the snitch for Lobos operation, Ghost could’ve truly been the real Ghost in the Machine. He was just watching Tyriq the whole time to see if he was really built for it. The final episode cut scene could’ve have, Davis, Effie since we didn’t know her supplier, the Cop who worked with Tyriq at the end, the trust fund Lawyer, even Blanco to say Norma is dead and they won’t be looking for Tyriq or Ghost anymore. They all call Ghost and say Tyriq accomplished everything.

Mecca really could have a spinoff n the form of a prequel, with episodes devoted to his relationship with Lobos, Ghost, Monet, Noma, his military training, and childhood. He seems more complex, and is way more interesting than Canan The character of MECCA DESERVES A SPINOFF.

Hey, there. Here's an idea for you. The best of these shows often portray siblings who, for one reason or another get separated or torn apart by circumstances; we can relate to. What if, Mecca had a brother who taught him Krav maga [military martial arts] and catches up with Tariq to enquire about the death of his brother. Long story short, he eventually mentors Tariq to be able to eliminate his adversaries who get too close. There was definitely more the writers could and should have done with Mecca. When these boys get down in the trenches Mecca wouldn't be relied upon to help anyone but himself, but a fully-fledged protege, who knows. That's where his half-brother or at least blood brother would have All of us riveted. I love mystery.

Mecca was in my opinion the biggest fumble on this show, he shoudlve been our 2 season villain/plug like noma was but after they killed him off so soon they replaced him with his “boss” who had no connection to tariq or the tejadas besides Mecca, I was fine with him being a federal informant it honestly made sense but that should’ve made him more powerful and harder to beat yk, like I feel that season 2 shoudlve ended with tariq figuring out he is a snitch and then finding out he knew ghost and season 3 shoudlve been way different and based on pretty much taking him down. But instead he was killed the next episode after revealing all this stuff he knew about ghost and tommy and Tariq’s family and his connection he already had with the tejada family it just seems like he would’ve been a much better villain had he not just been a 1 season threat. Zion was another wasted character knew so much about Tommy and ghost even knew ghosts real name but they never explain how and they never have another conversation about it, dude is around for only 3 episodes and was hyped up his first episode just to get bitched on in the next episode and killed the episode after that

I agree with bot about Cane fearing Meca due to Mecca being bigger, stronger and putting fear into Cane, however, I also think it has something to do with Cane being abused as a little boy. He made the statement of how men take advantage of little boys. So maybe Cane was really fearful of Mecca because it took Cane back to when he was a little boy and how an older man (or men) intimidated and took advantage of him. It was as if he was that scared little boy again.

Yes, Tariq is unseen for about 3 and comes back as a mixer of Macca & Columbia and Ghost as a silent sniper. Tommy notices Similarities to ghosts. It would be good for Tariq to fight Bruce Lee. We grew up watching. Ghost unknown assassin passed on to Tariq. Change the name of power to The Ghost of Gabriel.
