Kendrick slightly won to me but after I saw a very thorough video breakdown of all the meanings behind all the bars on Euphoria, it was a landslide for Kendrick, he was making 4-D chess moves on Drake and his writers.

Pass me a link to the breakdown. Those have been super interesting.

Kendrick was ready and outplayed Drake. "Family Matters" was a hot track that was forgotten immediately because "Meet the Grams" dropped less than an hour after it. Also a line like "You right about "Fuck the big three," it's only Big D, and there's video proof" (Family Matters), leads to the believability of the line "They be streamlinin' victims all inside of they home and callin' 'em tender Then leak videos of themselves to further push their agendas" (Meet the Grahams). I also believe Drake wrote all of "The Heart Part 6" with no help, which is why the track is disjointed, contradictory, and leaves a lot more questions than answers.

"Meet The Grahams" if this is over was the hardest record of the battle and arguably one of the greatest diss records ever in my opinion.
@lreez9776 ай бұрын
Why do you think that?
@chadoworld6 ай бұрын
@lreez977 I have been fortunate to have lived and experienced EVERY major battle in Hip-Hop history and the "intervention" approach of "Meet The Grahams" was masterful and most importantly unique which is saying ALOT for a music and culture that's 50 years strong!

Me being a fan of hip hop I believe kendricx won due to the fact of him dissing him in multiple styles. That's me I respect your opinion highly as well as math Hoffa who do you think won the battle in this?

Timing was critical in this beef. Kendrick sped Drake up ultimately leading to the biggest self-own in hiphop history; "The Heart 6" ... He felt pressed to release that garbage because of the fallout. There's light at the end of the tunnel for Drake. When they re-litigate this beef in 10 years' time, Drake will come out on top based on flow.

Its pretty sad when the best thing that comes out a rap battle is nobody got shot. Anyway, i was entertained as well but, there were just too many corny elements to this battle to name why I can't say its the greatest of all time. It definitely was the biggest battle to date garnering the most attention ever and that was unprecedented. but, it was NOT the best battle and not even in the top 5 imo.
