Dang... Googled "mechanic guide" and this came up. "Honestly, Mech grinding is kinda like, braindead" was literally the exact words I wanted to hear. I made a NW to main on Hyperion, as a returning player, and I am miserable, and its WAY too late in the event to try and start over on a new account. Bite farming isnt brain dead, its just lazy, I WAS SEARCHING FOR BRAIN DEAD, and this fits the bill. Not holding down a button to kill half of a map, but placing spawns, and being AFK untill 1min 30 sec, so I can loot. Thanks so much for the Mechanic content and I will be making one for sure the first time I get to experience a "normal" burning event!

How did you do that dash / smooth movement to land like that at 05:56?

Keybind and lock the Jet Booster skill in the beginner tab. The skill description also provides additional information. I have my Jet Booster skill on my "CONTROL", so when I want to dash like that in Tank Mode, the step-by-step process goes like this: Jump > Jet Booster (Lock it) > Jump.

Not the most optimal rotations. The goal as a mech is to basically not have to move while training while minimizing your APM. I trained in those exact same maps before we got Erda Fountain and i was getting full clears with less effort. For example, in the Esfera map, while you have the RnS location correct, you could just let the rest of your summons handle the bottom floor, while you sit on the far right platforms and just hold down missiles., not even needing your AP cannon. That moonbridge map isn't very good and you're better off in the larger maps as well stove they're easy full clears. I used MF5 (i think?) at 38 spawn and didn't have to move at all. That Liimina map you got the right idea, but you could just use a single distortion bomb to wipe out the platform with a single button. Also, you should make an effort to replace summons every 60 seconds due to the loot timer. Drops start disappearing after 90 seconds. That way you don't lose resources if you don't have a VAC pet to quick loot.
