Il motocarrello Fresia F18 è dotato di trazione integrale e sterzo completamente servoassistito idraulicamente su entrambi gli assi, che lo rendono uno dei mezzi più adeguati per il trasporto di materiali in ambiente di montagna, ovvero su terreni accidentati nevosi o fangosi.
È dotato di un motore Briggs & Stratton Twin II a due cilindri orizzontali di 694 cm³ che fornisce una potenza di 18 CV a 3 600 giri/min. Questo specifico mulo meccanico era stato progettato per l'esercito italiano e non è più in produzione dagli anni 90.

The Fresia F18 "mule" is equipped with all-wheel drive and fully hydraulically servo-assisted steering on both axles, which make it one of the most suitable means for transporting materials in a mountain environment such as on rough snowy or muddy terrain.
It is equipped with a 694 cm³ horizontal two-cylinder Briggs & Stratton Twin II engine that delivers 18 hp at 3 600 rpm. This specific mechanical mule was designed for the Italian army, the production ended in the 1990s.

Sure! basically the machine works thanks to a hydrostatic transmission, which is a hydraulic system where the hydraulic pump will convert the oil pressure in energy which moves the machine :) Hope I answered your question :) If you have further questions you can write me an email to the email address in the description of the video!

Hi, the machine in the video was produced only for the italian army. There is a similar mechanic mule used by the US army called mule M274.

not exactly, this one is a "mule" used in the italian army and it is made by an italian company called Fresia s.p.a. The main difference is that this mule is equipped with all-wheel drive and fully hydraulically servo-assisted steering on both axles while the us army one does not.

Engine exposed to junk no shield scraper box attached more junk . It's abilities...in snow awful but the most horrible mess to keep from falling out driver puts leg out ....this thing will kill someone!
