I started using a propelling pencil having watched you before and have found it so much better than an ordinary pencil. I've been wondering ever since what on earth I was going to do when it ran out of lead? Cheers Paul. 😘

Hi Angela, I have a rotating one here which is a Kuru Toga, but a 0.7 lead. I do need to buy one with a 0.5 lead instead for my finer drawing stage, which is a fantastic idea. 😀

Ohh wow I knew that you could get different sizes leads by numbers (.5, .7, & .9) which I have & use but I didn’t know that you could also get it within the Hardness to Softness range of 2B, HB, & Fine. Oh my goodness, you’ve blown my mind 🤯! 😁 I should have really known that was possible. Thanks for sharing this tidbit of information. It will save me have to use a sharpener for my graphite!

Hi Colleen, I'm glad I've given you some ideas about leads, I just remember it as H for a hard lead, and B for a soft lead. 😀

Did you use mastic on the head for the feathery look?

I certainly did use masking fluid, using very fine lines. 😀

How do I change the nibs in a mechanical pencil?

I personally hold the top of the pencil button in, whilst threading a new lead in from the tip end. Some pencils may allow any spare leads to be stored underneath the eraser. 😀
