@Aurora Borealis A car can get good gas mileage, and be of what some may consider "high quality" and still be hated. It's not really about the car for me, it's about the ricer community that mod their hondas and pretend they are hot rodders. A hit rod is NOT a Honda, has never been a Honda, and will never be a Honda. Because of those people (and movies like Fast and Furious) many car enthusiasts have a strong dislike for Hondas. Also, when you mentioned the Chevy V8 as the only good American engine, I think you might have forgotten the Mopar Hemi and .the V10 from Mopar as well. Also, Chevy's new V6 is actually quite good.

@Aurora Borealis And they all cost insane money compared to the american cars you are comparing them to. Europe has had it's fair share of garbage cars in their history. American cars generally tend to be bigger and much heavier than Japanese or European cars are, that's a culture thing. Its NASCAR or F1. A Honda can get great gas mileage and have a decent interior, but for many Americans nothing beats the rumble and throatiness of a V8 engine. Many of us prefer superchargers over turbochargers, again because of the cultural differences.

I’ve had 1:28 happen before... my only choice was to get a diamond-tipped hole saw and drill out the nut, effectively reducing it to metal filings. It was a good 20min of drilling per nut and then of course I had to replace the stud afterwards, but that was much faster
