Common supercharger failure, either he doesn’t have or wasn’t watching his engine temp or pressure gauges. He heated his internals too much and his piston rings expanded and closed up the head from the block. That blew the piston straight to space. Boosted cars require good internals, a good block, a good tuning, and most importantly a competent driver.
