Can you tell me more about the issue? Does the error come in Fusion when you post?

@@MechanicalAdvantage The error comes from the machine actually. It seems as though it is trying to go past the z limit switch on certain file types. facing operations work just fine though.

So when I pull an existing CAM setup forward into this new version of F360 I will have to revisit the heights tabs and adjust as needed....??

Not every toolpath has a feed height. Are you not seeing it in any of them?

@@ericevans5480 That isn’t remotely true. What compatibility issue does this heights change cause? Provide me a file and I’ll get it to the right people, but they went to great lengths to ensure there wouldn’t be any migration issue.

This did fix problems that users had… many requests to include top or bottom of fixtures for heights… Also, what compatibility issues? As stated, the developers designed this in a way that aims to avoid all compatibility issues with older files.

I just wish the interface wasn't laggy AF. You click in a box select drag and it hightlights the wrong direction or is wonky or its highlighted but the mouse isn't actually in that box so you type and then there's nothing registering so you have to reselect again nearly every time you select a box. Nutty. I've never used an app this laggy. Are they logging every click? If the box highlights it should AUTO SELECT everything in the box (like every other application that's ever been made) SO if I start typing it REPLACES whats there automatically. You have to manually highlight and if you move the mouse up or down too much it flips the select direction. This is just 1 super annoying issue that has been around for 5+ years?

@@MechanicalAdvantage What does that mean? We upgraded them all 2 years ago to 5600X Ryzens, 16GB ram not even using half. We have 500/500 internet. Is that not good enough to run Fusion?

That new ui looks so much less intuitive. Why not just add the new options as part of the drop down? I do lots of vice work so now stock top is an extra step. Also on laptop monitors these long menus will often have the ok/cancel buttons off the bottom of the screen.... Super annoying.

@@mtnbikeman85 give it a try for a bit. They are interested feedback and are listening. You can also set your own choices for height defaults.

this is one of the dumbest updates yet. Makes it harder to understand, not intuitive like top of stock or bottom of stock did, requires more clicks, double checks to make sure you selected the right additional stuff and just complicates things. Why did this change need to happen? The old selections worked fine. highest of selected and lowest of selected are not clear and easy to understand are not intuitive to the workflow.

@@davesvo I thought the same and then they had a meeting with me and showed me many many requests where users asked for this. I have a feeling we will see some future refinements now that users have been using it for a while. I don’t think my issue is with understanding. I don’t think that part is very difficult. I think for me it is when you have to make a drop down choice and then check and uncheck things.
