I've taken many a beating out there. Over 6' you WILL get caught inside, she pushes you way down and rolls you until you see stars. When the horizon goes black on a big WNW swell, you're in big trouble. Scariest break on the NS when it gets 8'-10' and starts pitching and you get those horrendous hunchback sections. Know what you're doing and get ready to paddle non-stop against that river-like current.

I'm not even a surfer but this is potentially life saving information when it comes to understanding how the rips work there. It's good to know what to watch out for and how to react when swimming and playing with my kids in the shore break.

hey I think your on to something here I thought the "Mechanics Haleiwa" is a great video I like all your video's. But like I said I think your are on to something and I think you should take this all over the globe and maybe put up one or two of these videos a month hey give it some thought it's great stuff Thanks keep up the good work...

So in other words when its big its dangerous cuz it sucks you into the impact zone i guess the bonus is the paddle back out might be easy
