Sir for aluminium alloy stress strain diagram u have written 0.002 strain... But u have written 0.2percent of strain. So which is the correct? Or both are right?

Yielding meaning strains without increasing the load but why the curve shows that stress is decreasing while yielding ????

In a stress-strain curve of ductile materials, once yielding curve is over, strain hardening curve begins, in which What do you mean by materials gains strength?.....And Why Aluminum Alloys have NO specific YIELD POINT.

Sir one question for a cup and cone fracture , is there a certain pattern as to how it occurs ? with respect to the top and bottom part of the interface where the crack is happening. thank you

It doesn't depend upon anything, because real materials are non-homogenous and non-continuous. Thus, wherever there is non-homogeneity the crack initiates and propagates to form fracture. Hope it helps.
