I understand the no/hard start issue with the exhaust brake in the on/stuck position. Why such a long time to crank before firing after you opened the exhaust brake?

The injection control pressure needs to be 800 psi for the engine to run. Sometimes the Maxxforce will do this especially if it's been sitting for a while or there is leakage in the high pressure system.

According to the laptop, it was 875 or around there while you were performing the testing. I was just curious, because I personally haven't run into that problem as of yet on my fleet. Thanks for posting these videos, it helps out when some of us are stuck, or haven't seen these types of problems before. Keep them coming!!!!

@@davepesorda9985 you are correct I had to watch the video again. I'm used to these engines cranking over more than the usual diesel.

Usually the bus has to be moving for the brake to come on but I will check the older buses👍

I have a Similar issue with a DT, bus came to the shop for a open crankcase breather kit and replaced it ,(for the excessive amount of oil found in CAC and the filter) clean out the sludge from the turbos make sure everything was clean after everything was done bus would not go past 15 mph and I found out high side turbo actuator was hanging which I ended replacing it. And bus Is still doing the same thing any help will be truly appreciated!!!!

Do you have NED software? Check code if any/ boost and ICP.

@@MechanicsHubdotCom Yes I have no codes everything as in pressures on NED are good all the readings but one thing I noticed that the Pacbrake the rod doesn't come out once you turn off the engine usually it releases air I noticed that today
